Process

Five steps. No endless changes. Nothing hidden until invoice.

Every engagement follows the same path. Each step has a defined end and a defined next — you always know what's been done, what's next, and how to push back if the work drifts from what you signed.

The five steps

The five steps

  1. 1. Free chat (30 minutes)

Tell me what's on your mind. Security worry, Microsoft bill, a task eating hours. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help. No pitch, no obligation, no prep needed.

  2. 2. Scoping session (paid — or free if you're already engaged)

A focused conversation about the specific work. Ends with me writing a single-page proposal.

  3. 3. Single-page proposal

Scope, deliverable, price, timeline, acceptance criteria. Fits on one page. If you can't hold the whole thing in your head, I haven't done my job.

  4. 4. Delivery

Most engagements run 1–4 weeks. You get a mid-way check-in — never an end-of-project surprise.

  5. 5. Handover

A prioritised, plain-English action list. Every artefact I created (documents, configurations, prompts, playbooks) belongs to you. If you want to keep me on for check-ins or the next piece of work, great. If not, everything you need to keep going is yours.

What's different

What's different about how I work

  1. Fixed price, not hourly.

You know the cost before we start. If the work turns out easier than expected, I don't punish myself for accurate scoping.

  2. Written acceptance test.

Every proposal defines "done". No moving goalposts on either side.

  3. Business language.

Every deliverable reads first for the business owner, second for the technical reader.

  4. No lock-in.

I don't sell you licences. I don't hold your configurations hostage. Everything I build for you belongs to you and stays with you.
